The Bible instructs us to pray for healing for one another. In James 5:16 we read, “Pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective” (NIV). During this one-hour prayer vigil, we will come before the Lord to seek spiritual, emotional, and physical healing for ourselves, our loved ones, and our communities. We will also set aside time for praise and thanksgiving to the Lord, “who forgives all your sins and heals all your diseases” (Psalm 103:3, NIV).
